GK-2A Hardening Accelerating Anti-Freezing Agent

DESCRIPTION：GK-2A represents a water-reducing, early strength enhancing, anti-freezing and  air-entraining agent and offers the comprehensive effect of water reduction, early strength   enhancement and antifreeze properties. It can improve the capillary structure of concrete,    reduce the free water in the concrete, and lower the concrete freezing point. In low temperature condition, it promotes the hydration of cement, so as to improve the concrete    early strength, and to meet the requirements of concrete with antifreeze agent. GK-2A is the ideal choice for concrete construction in winter. This product performs according to National Standard JC475-2004 and GB18588-2001 requirements.

USES：GK-2A is widely used in reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete and pre-fabricated components for highway, bridge, port, industrial and civil buildings, as well as winter

construction when temperature is no less than -5C.

CHARACTERISTICS：

GK-2A offers the following advantages:

* Water reduction capacity above 15% can be achieved;

* Chloride-free and low alkali content, anti-frost performance and water reduction capacity , and additionally no corrosion of reinforcement.

* Improves workability, as well as durability of concrete.

APPLICATION

RECOMMEND DOSAGE

Powder: 3%—5% by weight of cementitious materials

Liquid: 2%—6% by weight of cementitious materials                                                          

 The most effective temperature is from 0C to -20C   

USING METHOD：Please mix GK-2A directly into the fresh concrete, or mix it into gauging water first and then add into the dry mixtures. The stir time is suggested to prolong by 30m - 60s.

NOTES ON APPLICATION：

1. It should follow the casting specification.

2.  Pay attention to early curing conditions.

3. GK-2A is compatible with all other GK products as following:

-    GK water reducer

-    GK waterproofing agent

-    GK pumping agent.

If combined with the above, it is suggested to determine the performance experimentally or consult our technical services department.

4. If the temperature is lower than - 15C, the amount of antifreeze component should be increased appropriately.

Do not dispose of into water or soil, but according to local regulations.
